L-Soft International Emerges Successfully from Chapter 11 Protection: LISTSERV(R) Software Development and Customer Support Continued Throughout; Com

Landover, MD (PRWEB) May 4, 2010 -- L-Soft international has emerged from Chapter 11 protection. The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland has ordered the case closed (Case 07-12173). Effective April 27, this final decree in the case confirms that the reorganization plan approved by the court last year is fully administered, concluding the software firm's Chapter 11 proceedings.

L-Soft international has continued normal business operations since its petition, filed three years ago to help resolve protracted litigation. L-Soft international's parent and sister companies in Sweden, Germany and the UK were dismissed from the litigation and had not been subject to any bankruptcy proceedings. The reorganization plan included a final settlement of the litigation.

Eric Thomas created LISTSERV(R) in 1986, launching the opt-in email list communications industry. The current version, LISTSERV 16.0, released at the end of last year, introduces an innovative HTML newsletter template system. L-Soft's licensed and hosted solutions also include LISTSERV Maestro email marketing and analytics software. The products are scalable, enabling a wide range of businesses, government agencies, non-profit associations and academic institutions to engage customers, members and stakeholders with personalized and relevant email newsletters, announcements, discussion groups and online communities. Later this year, L-Soft will introduce an email marketing service built on LISTSERV Maestro with a focus on entry-level users.
